Nate, a young Black boy who desperately wants and tries to succeed, while enduring verbal abuse from his auntie who has resentment towards him. One day, he gets the opportunity to meet the Dean of an Art School, where he has just a few hours to meet up with him to show his artwork to possibly receive a full-ride scholarship, but his auntie had other plans. Nate must retrieve his sketchbook, which is in his aunt's hands, and must get passed his auntie abuse in less than a few hours to make it to his appointment with the Dean.
