Following the recent death of his mother, A young man named Francis and his partner Emma spend time with his physically disabled father at his childhood home. Francis intends to tell the father that they have placed him in a nursing home but fails to do so, out of guilt. Suspicious of Francis behaviour the father investigates discovering his sons plans. The father becomes angry and falls in the middle of the night. Emma comes to the fathers aid leading to a conversation that results in an unexpected outcome.
