Director - Parviz Majidov

Born in 1999, in Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan, Parviz Majidov graduated from the Azerbaijan State University of Economics. His passion for visual culture made Parviz switch to the new field. Since 2018, Parviz is involved in videography, filmmaking and theatre. He is the author of two award-winning short documentaries – “Alzheimer” and “I do not belong in this body”. The latest, produced by Chai Khana platform, was selected to numerous festivals, namely, DokuBaku International Documentary Film Festival, HUMANS FEST -The International Film and Human Rights Festival of Valencia, The KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival, Les Mains Gauches - Queer Feminist Festival. His research interests are wide range - from gender in/equalities, women rights, LGBTIQ+, to internet security, and massive surveillance.
