The BFS Film Fest, founded by Nia Hampton, centers Black Femme filmmakers and re-envisions the Black Femme as a global protagonist, empowering their stories through film. Run That Back: Access 2 Power is a virtual reprise of a short film block from the 2019 fest exploring the ways Black femmes grapple with power, or the lack thereof in their lives. SAD GIRLS CLUB explores the quiet and intimate moments between two friends, and how sharing their feelings can provide a safe space for ease and healing.
