In 2020 the Almeda fire swept through southern Oregon destroying over 2,800 homes. Unfortunately, those most affected were already exploited Latinx and low-income communities and residents are finding that rebuilding takes years not months. Where do we find hope in so much loss? 
This film explores the aftermath of the fire and the opportunity to rebuild structures and systems so that they can be more stable and just for all.

The 2020 fires in southern Oregon burned over 2,800 structures in just a few hours, leaving two towns decimated and thousands without a home. This film explores the community's journey to rise from the ashes and rebuild with equity.

A man and woman awaken to air quality hazard warnings amidst severe wildfires. As each surveys the hazy landscape from their respective windows, they deliberate the safety of an important annual ritual. Written and shot within 24 hours during the West Coast wildfires of September, 2020, this climate-focused narrative short follows two friends yearning for joy while mourning a lost sense of home.

While filming the music video for their song "Excuse My Accent", rappers RobYoung and DreiRos discover that the United States is deporting military veterans. They embark on a journey to learn more and meet Hector Barajas along the way. Soon Rob & Drei become "accidental activists" in their desire to help Hector and his mission to bring the deported veterans home.

Bring Them Home

America is deporting non-citizen military veterans and the only way they can come home is in a body bag. Hector Barajas wants them alive.

Brushstroke is the story of Paul Kirby, an abstract expressionist who makes art with an unusual collaborator: a robot he built named Dulcinea. The idea for Dulcinea came to Paul in the late 70s while studying at Harvard and since that moment he's dedicated his life to fusing his love of technology with his love of art. The art he creates is inspired both from the world around him as well as tragedy he's experienced in his life.
