Although the subject matter includes immigration and terrorism, these distinctive films impressed our PTFF review team with the bravery of the filmmakers and their spot-on interpretations of some of the most compelling challenges we face.
It started out like any other day, of course, with a nuclear explosion. But on this day John Nguyen, a scientist who maps fallout in the desert, finds an egg that has survived the atomic blast. A delightful spoof on 1950s atomic naiveté ensues, complete with perky 50’s songs.
