Reflections on our society today, many of these films are disturbing as they show how easily attitudes can solidify and dictate actions.   Although the subject matter includes immigration and terrorism, these distinctive films impressed our PTFF review team with the bravery of the filmmakers and their spot-on interpretations of some of the most compelling challenges we face. 


It started out like any other day, of course, with a nuclear explosion. But on this day John Nguyen, a scientist who maps fallout in the desert, finds an egg that has survived the atomic blast. A delightful spoof on 1950s atomic naiveté ensues, complete with perky 50’s songs.
