From queer youth on the edge to siblings frozen in childhood wounds, from surreal city wanderings to van rides toward difficult choices; these stories shine with awkward grace and emotional honesty. Life doesn’t tie itself up neatly, but sometimes, it gives us just enough thread.

On the way to terminate a surprise pregnancy, a woman drops in on a former one-night stand, the unsuspecting father, to let him know. He barely remembers her, but offers a ride in his dad’s van. What begins as an awkward favor unfolds into a disarmingly funny, emotionally layered journey through traffic, tension, and the strange intimacy of shared decisions. Mixing quick-witted dialogue, absurd situations, and heartfelt moments, this short comedy reveals the beauty in life’s little mishaps and the lengths we go to find love…and the correct "wheelie bin."

In 1970s Los Angeles, a rebellious queer teen gets thrown out of yet another foster placement. She is assigned to a mysterious and unconventional social worker who's tasked with finding her a new home before morning. As they travel the city at odds, seeking a new placement, the teen discovers that she has other options besides running.
