SCORED follows Jacob, a Black queer composer in LA, who accepts a new film scoring job— only to find that the project unexpectedly stirs his own unresolved grief. As artistic compromise, exploitation, and a fraying relationship with his partner Bae begin to take their toll, Jacob is forced to confront the emotional cost of staying visible— and the quiet unraveling that comes with translating pain into performance.
