When Abortion is a Lifeline is an immersive multimedia project by video journalist Ana Maria Rodriguez and journalist Eulimar Nunez. During a visit to Dominican Republic and El Salvador they talked to organizers, lawmakers and women who had been affected by laws that prohibit access to abortion. These are just 2 of the 6 countries in the region that prohibit abortion in all cases, even when the life of the mother is in danger or when pregnancy is the result of rape.
