In 1999, Novato, California, an 8-year-old girl named Jessie is enjoying what little time she has left with her best friend, Lucas. The two of them have difficulty conveying it, but they’re both aware as to what is about to happen. The trailer park they live in will be closed, and the whole community will be forced to evacuate, as a result of the MTBE water contamination. For Jessie, this means facing an unwanted change and learning to say goodbye to that which tethers her to her little pink trailer.

After graduating from Hanyang Univerisity in Seoul with a BA degree in Film and Theater, he moved to Los Angeles and earned his MFA degree in Directing from the prestigious American Film Institute (AFI), where he attended as the only Korean fellow of his year. His films have won and screened in numerous film festivals including several Oscar-Qualifying ones. Kyung's latest film Furthest From (2020) won the Prize of the Children’s Jury at the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen (FIAPF Accredited), the Jury prize in the Student Category at the USA Film Festival, and the Silver Remi Award in the Graduate Student Category at the Worldfest-Houston.
