Inspired by his experience as a conscientious objector of the Vietnam War, and the friends he lost, Sebastopol resident Michael Gillotti reflects on the events that led to founding the Sebastopol Living Peace Wall. In its annual dedication ceremony, the Living Peace Wall is inscribed with the names of living peacemakers in Sebastopol and the surrounding community. It serves to honor their work in the world, and to inspire others to stand for peace and harmony.
