“Prokop”, the central train station in Belgrade, Serbia, is seen as a living architectural organism which shows traces of the past. However, it was never completed. The station itself was never just a train station, but the consequence of a series of human interventions.



Director's Bio: Danilo Stanimirović, born in 1998 in Požarevac, Serbia. He made his first encounter with film at the Free Zone Filmmaker School and film school Square; And as a workshop participant, jury member and volunteer at almost all festivals in Serbia. 


In 2017, at the DokuFest workshop in Prizren, he made his first award-winning documentary “Migrations”. In the same year he enrolled at the Faculty of Media and Communications in Belgrade. 


In 2018, he won the European Film Contest and the European Film Challenge, which takes him to the Cannes and Venice Film Festivals. Next year, his fiction film “Bambiland” was premiered in famous Anthology Film Archives cinema in NewYork, and later it was shown at over 70 festivals around the world and won numerous awards. 

He worked on the film Celts by Milica Tomović as the second AD, and on many TV series and short films as first AD and production manager. So far, he has directed 4 documentaries (Barili, Migrations, Prokop, Niemerland) and 4 fiction short films (Red, Eviction, Bambiland, Two on Two).
