Fool's Gold

Become golden as trans-vaquero Oliver Gold (Che Ortiga) sings his way through heartbreak and queer revelations of self worth in the instant country hit by the time traveling boyband: Turnback Boyz!

This short film focuses on the initial stages of transition, the moments of realization, and the courage it takes for a little pirate girl to simply be herself. The Little Piratemaid was Luke Beatrice's senior thesis project at Lesley University. The original, super short version was released in film festivals in 2023. After the project won several awards, Luke made the full, extended version (twice the length of the original) without the confines of a school project.<a href="https://www.lukebeatriceart.com/the-little-piratemaid" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.lukebeatriceart.com/the-little-piratemaid</a>-----Luke is an illustrator, animator, comic artist, and dungeon master. A recent graduate of Animation from Lesley University, he is a freelance artist specializing in visual storytelling with an enthusiasm for developing diverse characters. As a man of trans experience, Luke has the ability to represent his LGBTQIA2S+ comrades with dignity and respect.

The Little Piratemaid

The Little Piratemaid is an animated short about what it takes to discover yourself as a trans person in a cis-normative world—even if that world is one of pirates and mermaids!

Ether, an anxious non-binary person, navigates the surreal world of the grocery store; they can't cope with the societal expectations, and have a panic attack as they leave the store to cool down in the park. Zander Constien is an experimental animator based out of San Francisco. His mixed media art explores queer otherness and absurdism. They grew up in Colorado and is a graduate of the University of Colorado film school.

Transgender darkwave and industrial artist, A.S. Valentino's music video "Butch Dyke" hits hard with a dark and sexy swagger. The music video, shot and edited by videographer/creative producer Cai Indermaur, features a kaleidoscopic carousel of shots of various butch and masculine-of-center people. The track was recorded, produced, and mixed by Valentino and mastered by Jessica Thompson (Bay Area-based, GRAMMY-nominated mastering engineer).-----Cai Indermaur is a musician, songwriter, visual artist, and storyteller residing in the Pacific Northwest of the U.S. *Mastered by Jessica Thompson

Your Part is a strong condemnation of my extended family for not reaching out after my parents rejected me for being trans. It doesn’t mince words and gets real about the harms caused when well meaning folks don’t stand up for oppressed people against the violent status quo. The music video was shot at a catholic graveyard in Oakland, California.

Always in transition between places and selves, can he find a voice that is truly his own? Born out of a collaboration between two trans men, No More Longing is a rhythmic portrait of an artist engaging in the act, the process, and the practice of becoming. Connor Lee O’Keefe (he/him) is a nonfiction filmmaker, artist, and teacher currently living and working in Chicago, IL. He uses a queer lens to shape the realities captured in his films. He tells stories with people that push the boundaries of what it means to live and share the world with others.

No More Longing

An old cargo driver, named Papi, carries asteroid cargo deep outside our universe alongside his trusty sidekick, Pollito. One day, he receives space mail from someone from his past, causing the old man to panic. Intrigued, Pollito convinces Papi to share more about the curious mail which leads to a musical adventure into Papi's memories. Together, we discover Papi's emotional relationship to his child as well as his questionable treatment of them once he realized their true gender. Does this father still have time to redeem himself?

Wish You Were Here [Si Estuvieras Aqui]

Far into outer space, a lonely cargo driver receives a letter from his estranged child, causing him to relive the memories of their relationship… both good and bad.
