Roberto Fatal - Director, Writer, Producer, Editor

Roberto Fatal [they/them/ellos] is a filmmaker and storyteller. They come from Rarámuri, Genízaro, and Spanish ancestors and Mexican-American culture. Their Queer, gender fluid, Mestize/Mixed identity informs the sci-fi films they make. Their debut feature script, ELECTRIC HOMIES, was on the 2022 GLAAD/Blacklist for best unproduced scripts list and in 2024 the script won an SF Film Rainin grant as well as a development grant from the Sundance Film Institute Indigenous Film Lab.


Ali Meyers-Ohki - Writer, Producer

Ali Meyers-Ohki (she/her) is a writer based in Sacramento, California. Her connection to her mixed Japanese and European ancestry as well as her experiences as a cis queer woman inspire her to write stories about identity, belonging, family, healing, history, and the future. Her work has been published by Queer Rain Magazine, Voyage YA, and ANMLY. She is a 2022 Hedgebrook residency recipient, a 2023 Walter Dean Myers Grant recipient, and a current Bennington Writing Seminars MFA graduate student.
