Ana Colato is a young filmmaker from Bolívar, Argentina. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Audiovisual Arts with a focus on Directing from the Faculty of Arts at the National University of La Plata (2022). She is a director with a feminist Latin American perspective. Her first short film, Children of the Earth (Hijes de Monte), was selected to participate in the ABC BAFICI WIP (2021), premiered at the Women and Film Festival (2021), and was screened at several festivals in Argentina, including the Cosquín International Film Festival (FICIC), the Latin American Film Festival of La Plata (FESAALP), the Risky Cinema Festival (Festival de Cine con Riesgo), the Ensenada International Film Festival (FICE), the Bonaerense Identities Showcase (Muestra Identidades Bonaerenses), and Women in Audiovisual Media (MUMA) in Bariloche. Internationally, it was shown at the Philadelphia Latino Film Festival (USA) and SAGA at WIFF (Australia). In addition to her work as a director, she is also a music video director, film editor, and cinematographic technician. Guadalupe Sanz is an artist from Córdoba, Argentina. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Dramatic Arts from the National University of the Arts (UNA), earned in 2018. Among her most notable works as a director are Cuerpxs Unicxs, a miniseries developed with the support of FOMECA and Casa Cultural Sofía (2022), and Metamorfosis, a musical series created for artist Julia Groppo. As assistant director and producer, her standout projects include Sin Filtro, a series awarded by the RENACER program (2022), and Ojos al mar, a documentary developed in Argentine Patagonia, which premiered at the Patagonia International Environmental Film Festival (PEFF) and the Corto Rodado National Short Film Festival in 2024. Currently, both artists are premiering Buena Vida y Poca Vergüenza, a co-directed work developed in collaboration with professionals from the fields of audiovisual arts and theater.
