Conversations with filmmakers selected to the festival.

Watching the news we ask ourselves, “War, what is good for? Lives are destroyed, upended and changed forever, and 50% of those impacted are children. Imagine the effect it has on these innocent ones?” Ten years ago animator Cinzia Angelini reached out to the worldwide community of animators and brought together 350 volunteers to help address these issues. Her highly personal story Mila is one of resilience and perseverance in the midst of destruction. Listen in as Cinzia recounts her own mother’s wartime experience, the challenges in making this global film and the hope that it inspires.
