Conversations with filmmakers selected to the festival.

Moved by what’s happening to the environment, director Simone Giampaolo discusses the genesis of his award-winning film, Only A Child.

From a 12-year-old female activist to the environmental themes of Frederick Back’s films, Giampaolo has set out to make a film that he hopes will effect change. Collaborating with twenty Swiss directors, and using just as many varied mediums of animation, Giampaolo has directed an award-winning masterpiece that will not move you but motivate you. It’s a film of our time and a timeless film.
