Director Biography - Bolun Wei

Bolun Wei is a passionate filmmaker from Beijing, China. He is currently in his last semester at Loyola Marymount University. He has worked on dozens of projects since his freshman year as grip, production assistant, and assistant director. He is also a member of Delta Kappa Alpha, a national gender-inclusive cinematic professional fraternity. During his summers in China, he interned at Enlight Pictures and Mowei Pictures and worked as 2nd assistant director on Lou Ye's film The Shadow Play (Feng Zhong You Duo Yu Zuo De Yun). His last project HAND-DRAWN is an "Official Selection" of Pasadena International Film Festival and North Hollywood Cinefest. Bolun also has created shorts, vlogs, and mashups for his own Youtube channel.
