'East and West', is a feature film written and directed by Isha Chitre, and made in collaboration with Mona Khan Company, is a journey of self-discovery; one that may challenge your notions and inspire innovation. It’s a story of burnout, re-ignition, passion, innovation, and personal connection. Bringing together several dynamic artists from the Bay Area, ‘East and West’ is a collaboration, in its truest sense, and an effort to tell a story that will resonate with all.

Director Biography - Isha Chitre

Isha Chitre is currently studying at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she is pursuing a BFA in Film and TV Production. Passionate about films from an early age, Isha's experience in filmmaking includes writing, producing, and directing films. Additionally, Isha has been a student of Kathak dance for the past 10 years. Kathak is a form of visual storytelling, in which the dancer must individually portray the many characters.
