Her films have explored women in sport, immigration in America, native American issues, Silicon Valley’s dating culture and refugee resettlement in California’s Bay area. She has worked on media and video projects in the areas of gender, sexuality, rural journalism, disability, social design, education and environment for non-profits as well as the Indian government. Her films have screened on cable TV in Multnomah county, at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, San Diego Asian Film Festival, Seattle Asian American Film Festival, NewFilmmakers Los Angeles and the 14th IAWRT Asian Women’s Film Festival (New Delhi). Her audio-visual project on women bodybuilders in India has been recognized by the International Association of Women in Radio &amp; Television (IAWRT). She holds an MFA in Documentary Film and Video Production from Stanford University, USA.

Bringing together several dynamic artists from the Bay Area, ‘East and West’ is a collaboration, in its truest sense, and an effort to tell a story that will resonate with all. Director Biography - Isha Chitre<img src="https://storage.googleapis.com/eventive-static/c227c9103cad2533c0e873f6fd5f86ed.jpg" width="134">Isha Chitre is currently studying at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she is pursuing a BFA in Film and TV Production. Passionate about films from an early age, Isha's experience in filmmaking includes writing, producing, and directing films. Additionally, Isha has been a student of Kathak dance for the past 10 years. Kathak is a form of visual storytelling, in which the dancer must individually portray the many characters.

Raj’s second short KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK (directed by Sudhanshu Saria), world premiered at the Busan, won Best Screenplay at the New York Indian Film Festival (NYIFF), and was picked up by Mubi. Raj also produced THE REUNITED STATES (directed by Ben Rekhi), profiling the political and racial polarization happening in the US, which will be playing at Cinequest and the United Nations Film Festival in October 2020. Raj’s cannibal horror script VARNA HEIGHTS was selected as one of ten projects to be featured at the NFDC Co-Production Market at Film Bazaar in Goa in Nov 2019.In 2020, Raj directed his first film PADMAVYUHA, an Indo-American mystery thriller rooted in Indian mythology. The film stars Nikhil Prakash, Ross Turner, and Pooja Batra.

Padmavyuha

A man desperately seeks to preserve his life long passion of creating analog clocks in an era of digital totality. Director Biography - Sohil Vaidya<img src="https://storage.googleapis.com/eventive-static/030202946c4a27afe934cdef3b87fa80.jpg" width="142">Sohil is a winner of the prestigious Directors Guild of America(D.G.A) Student Award, 2018 for his thesis film 'Difficult People'. Difficult People was also nominated for the American Society of Cinematographers Student Heritage Awards. His films have screened at more than 60 international film festivals including Palm Springs, Flickers Rhode Island, Edmonton International, LA Asian Pacific, Dharamshala (DIFF), Kerala (IDSFFK), LA shorts; and have been acquired by multiple online platforms such as ShortsTV, Omeleto, Discover and Viddsee. Sohil is an alum of the University of Southern California(U.S.C) Film School with M.F.A in Film Directing.
