Director Biography - Michelle Tang



Michelle is a BFA3 Character Animation student at Calarts from Cupertino, CA. She loves to tell personal stories that merge abstraction and fantasy with real life experiences. Ever since she was little, she's been scribbling on paper, creating characters and original comic books. In high school, she watched "Duet" by Glen Keane, and it opened her eyes to the world of animation. From that point on, she's been fascinated with visual storytelling, and is working to become a storyboard artist for feature or TV animation. In her free time, she can be found sipping boba, crocheting outfits for her cat, or dancing to songs in front of her mirror.
