Trapped in COVID - The Story of Angeline and Krystal Nam
This documentary film showcases two young nurses, Angeline and Krystal Nam, and their experiences while working during the current pandemic.

BLINK follows the lens of a first-generation Chinese American college student named Steven who finds himself standing up for what he believes in while going through 2020 with his father. Steven illustrates the physical and mental toll that the events of 2020 had on many people within the Asian American community.

These experiences are symbolized through “blinks” that Steven has, as he recounts the major events of the year. These “blinks'' include struggling events of rising Anti-Asian hate, teaching the Black Lives Matter movement to his father, and the Covid-19 Pandemic. BLINK contains scenes of anti-black sentiment and the generational and cultural gap which is prevalent in the APIDA community.

BLINK was made for people to empathize with the personal experiences that some in the APDIA community have faced in 2020. Through struggles and adversity, communities and all types of people can come together in solidarity with one another. This film is dedicated to the APDIA community.
