According to Google, a homebody is “a person who likes to stay at home, especially one who is perceived as unadventurous.” Lily is an introvert, a homebody. She doesn’t like going outside; she would rather stay in her room and scroll through her phone, play video games, watch Youtube videos, and find various indoor hobbies to do. After multiple attempts to get her to go outside, Lily’s sister gives up and refers to her as a homebody. Lily accepts that she is just comfortable in her own space.
Director Biography - Debbie Saefong
I’m a recent graduate from UC Riverside with a major in Theatre, Film and Digital production with a concentration in Filmmaking. As a first-generation college student with immigrant parents, I was a minority in the low-income community I grew up in. As I grew older, I realized that representation is imperative and I was inspired to major in Film because of the lack of Asian-American representation in the entertainment industry. My love for film blossomed during high school, where I made short video projects for my classes as well as recreational short films outside of school. I found a lot of joy in being able to share these projects with people and it soon became a passion. I look forward to more opportunities to delve deeper in the film industry and gain more knowledge in something I am passionate about.
