In 1985 a retired Japanese American war veteran tells his Grandson his hardships and the part he played in world war 2. His travels from the relocation camp in Arizona to the dark mountains of France on a rescue mission to save a lost battalion all to prove his allegiance to the United States of America.

This is a personal story about my grandfather Masatsugu Uyeda. In 1943 he was relocated to Poston, AZ and later volunteered to fight the Nazi’s in a segregated army unit the 442nd.


Director Biography - Bradford Uyeda

A full-time animation director and a claymation fiend living in Phoenix, AZ with his beautiful wife and daughters. He graduated from the traditional animation program at San Francisco State University in 2005, and worked on various series, and commercials as both a freelancer and full-time staff member at various studios while living in CA seven years ago.
