UCLAxFilmFest celebrates UCLA Extension student filmmakers from around the world.

After fleeing war-torn Syria, 20-year-old Fatima believed that the Greek refugee camps would lead to a better life. What felt like salvation ended up being her worst nightmare. This documentary explores the ways in which the trauma she and others endured, especially as women, shaped Fatima and how art would ultimately give her the freedom she sought.
