
Michael Mooleedhar is an award-wining Trinidadian director, with a bachelor's degree from University of the West Indies & master’s degree from the London Film School, his work includes documentaries, TV commercials, music videos and fiction films. He made his directorial debut in 2008 with Queens of Curepe, following the lives of transvestite prostitutes. In 2017 he completed the feature adaptation of Michael Anthony’s Green Days by the River, set in 1950s Trinidad, which was distributed throughout the Caribbean to great acclaim. His films have played in festivals across the globe, including Caribbean Tales International Film Festival, Toronto, Valetta Film Festival, Malta, AFI Silver DC Caribbean Film fest, Washington DC, 44th Seattle International Film Festival, Washington, DC International Film Festival and Festival International de Films de Fribourg, Pravasi Film Festival in India etc.
My name is Mirtemir (Temur) Murotov. I was born in 1996 in Jizzakh region. 2012-2015 College of Culture. 2017 art house directing course. Since 2021, I have been studying drama at the Tashkent branch of VGIK.
Justin Emeka is a director, writer and actor that has worked in theatre for over 25 years. He specializes in re-imagining classic texts through the lens of Black Culture. He serves as the resident director at the Pittsburgh Public Theater where he recently directed August Wilson's "Two Trains Running" and his own adaptation of "A Midsummer Night's Dream in Harlem". He is making his film directing debut with the short film "Six Winters Gone Still".Six Winters Gone Still is a re-contextualization of a scene from Shakespeare’s “Richard II”. In this short, I hope to reveal the loss of innocence for a generation of incarcerated Black men and the impact of their absence on their families.
Henry Bolingbroke is a young Black man who was recently convicted of a minor offense and excessively sentenced to six years in prison. This is the morning he must leave his family and report to jail. His older brother tries to prepare his mind, to do the time.
