ABOUT THE FILM: When Milla’s fiancé Evie suddenly leaves her, she must face the reality that her relationship is really over this time. Set in Los Angeles, this short film is an intimate portrait of queer grief following the sudden ending of a longtime on-again, off-again relationship between two women. Written and Directed by Elizabeth Baudouin. Starring Natalie Shirinian and co-starring Amanda Grace Jenkins.
ABOUT THE FILMMAKER: Elizabeth Baudouin is a writer/producer/director. She is known for stories that capture the human experience through emotional depth, nuanced complexity, subtle humor, and cultural totems. Her writings are published in Vogue, HuffPost, BlackBook, and more. Elizabeth and her wife, Writer/Director/Producer/Actress, Natalie Shirinian, have produced multiple award-winning short films through their production company, Not All Films. They have been featured in The NY Times, Nowness, MovieMaker, InStyle, Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, AnOther, and more. Elizabeth is an Emerson College graduate and studies with Joan Scheckel’s Filmmaking Labs Studios. Breakup Text is her first short film which she writes and directs.
