ABOUT THE FILM: Insecure New Jersey bodybuilder Joey Rossi, aka Joey Muscles, starts doing steroids in a last-ditch effort to go pro. ABOUT THE FILMMAKER: Tyler Riggs grew up outside of Tampa, Florida. At 21, he moved to NY and began his acting training under William Esper. It wasn’t until he wrote and produced his first short film that he realized his interests lie behind the camera. After producing and starring alongside Rachel Brosnahan in the award-winning indie feature BOOMTOWN, he directed his first feature, GOD’S WAITING ROOM, which premiered at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival where the lead actor, Matthew Leone (also the star of BLUE BOY), won Best Actor. His second feature, PEACE IN THE VALLEY, premiered at the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival.

ABOUT THE FILM: At a sorority hazing event, college freshman Scotty must make an impression on the older girl she wants as her “big.” As the night goes on, Scotty realizes how far she’s willing to go to prove herself—but that power dynamics are not always what they seem. ABOUT THE FILMMAKER: Chaconne is a writer &amp; director originally from Portland, Oregon, now living between LA and NYC. She tells raw, sensual stories about female relationships, sexuality and the moral grey areas in which they exist.&nbsp;Chaconne is a writer on Amazon's upcoming 'Cruel Intentions'. Her short film, 'In Sync' premiered at Maryland Film Festival and is streaming on NoBudge. Her most recent short, 'Scotty’s Vag', premiered at SXSW 2023 and won Best Narrative Short at Atlanta Film Festival. Chaconne holds a BA in Creative Writing &amp; Film from Johns Hopkins University.﻿

He has an MFA in Directing from Columbia University's School of the Arts. Major's films are often about good people who are forced to do bad things. His film Fourth of July won a Special Mention for Best US Student Short at the 2021 Palm Springs International ShortFest.

ABOUT THE FILM: In the ESPN short film Black Girls Play, directors Michéle Stephenson and Joe Brewster chronicle the origins of the hand games that young Black girls have played for generations, and their influence on music, dance, and community across the American creative landscape. ABOUT THE FILMMAKER: Rada Studio began 20 years ago as a partnership between spouses Joe Brewster and Michèle Stephenson. Michèle and Joe were determined to tell their stories without compromise and in an unapologetic way that centered on the lived experience of the Black diaspora.&nbsp;The result is a resonant body of creative work that includes fiction films, feature and short-form documentaries, immersive media installations, and experimental hybrid films. The culmination of 7 years of work by the duo director team, Feature Documentary, Going to Mars: The Nikki Giovanni Project, Won The Grand Jury Prize At This Year’s Sundance Film Festival.﻿
