ABOUT THE FILM:A farmer is tending to his sheep and farmland when he notices animals start going missing. He continues working on his farm when he finds an otherworldly creature has killed one of his animals. He attempts to kill it by setting a trap with meat in the woods to no avail, as the creature only eats the living. He manages to figure out the vicious creature's weakness and now must use it to save his sheep. ABOUT THE FILMMAKER:Quinn Victor got into filmmaking at a young age making little shorts with his brother. Since then his passion has grown and he has continued making films as a hobby including other small film projects for school. He will be attending SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) to pursue VFX and post production work.

ABOUT THE FILM:At only 9 months old, Cooper was diagnosed with elevated lead levels. The construction site below his family’s apartment contaminated their apartment with lead dust, causing him to become extremely ill. The effects of the elevated lead levels have been devastating to his health and development. For the past two years, Cooper has been working with various organizations on The Roadmap to End Lead Poisoning, a comprehensive plan to enact new laws and target loopholes. But there is one bill that has not passed: The Lead Paint Right to Know Act. Senator Breslin has stated that this bill could be the single most important piece of legislation in the fight against childhood lead poisoning. This bill is very personal for Cooper, because if this bill was in place sixteen years ago, it could have prevented his lead exposure, and he never would have gotten sick. ABOUT THE FILMMAKER:Cooper Burkett is a rising senior in the film program at PPAS high school in New York City, where he has been honing his skills in directing, editing, writing, acting, and producing. When he is not busy creating films with his classmates, Cooper has been working on his documentary about his advocacy work to end childhood lead poisoning. With his family in tow, Cooper has made many trips to Albany lobbying for the passage of legislation and works to persuade lawmakers to support the proposed bills. In 2023, three of these bills were passed!

ABOUT THE FILM:The story of *Take Me Home* follows the journey of a protagonist burdened by the immense pressures of modern society, seeking to escape reality in pursuit of true freedom on the vast plains. However, after encountering various deceptions and illusions in this seemingly idyllic setting, the protagonist has a transformative conversation with a wise local elder. Through this dialogue, they realize that genuine freedom and liberation come from within—learning to coexist with the pressures of a rapidly changing world and facing unknown challenges with a more optimistic and carefree spirit. ABOUT THE FILMMAKER: Ziyi Wang: I was born in Beijing in 2005, and currently a freshman at USC School of Cinematic Arts. Although I was born in the city, I spent much of my childhood living in remote minority regions such as Qinghai and Tibet. Through filmmaking, I aim to explore the dynamics between urban life and nature, as well as the relationship between cities and minority cultures, seeking out the inherent drama and conflict. In my films, I strive to reflect the real world and authenticity, using cinema as a medium to address social issues and truthfully depict the realities of ordinary people.

ABOUT THE FILM:When my granddaughter died of a fentanyl overdose, my niece Therese Dunn and I made this film to spread awareness about the dangers of fake pills and the perils of addiction. We chose the intimacy of 1st person narrative to convey the inner struggle of fentanyl dependence and its impact on family. Fent &amp; Me is opioid addiction as seen through the eyes of a desperate teen. ABOUT THE FILMMAKERS:Mark Cavanagh is an author, screenwriter and filmmaker whose interests range from issue documentaries to narrative features. Therese Dunn is a 14-year-old filmmaker who expresses herself in many creative mediums. She made her first film at age 11, My Bro, about her little brother and his heart condition.

ABOUT THE FILMMAKER:William Cherry is a 18 year old filmmaker from East Yorkshire In the United Kingdom. William, along with his younger brother Maximillian, have enjoyed making films from a young age using iMovie. Buoy is his first short film made for his A level Film qualification. William wrote, directed, and filmed on a Nikon D50 and edited himself. William has since purchased a Sony FS7 and is in the development stage of his next short film.
