HUDSY celebrates the incredibly diverse voices, culture and spirit of the Hudson Valley through the power of film and storytelling on the first streaming video app for the region, HUDSY TV.

ABOUT THE FILM:

Through decades of colonization, the ability to love and care for oneself has been lost among many indigenous peoples. After reconnecting with their ancestors, husband and wife Gustavo and Natalia were motivated to create a safe and nurturing environment for the practice and preservation of indigenous traditions and way of life. By building a new Indigenous Cultural Center, Munay Wasi, in Wawarsing, New York, originally Ramapo Lenape land bordering Mohawk territory, they are helping those who have been denying their culture to relearn how to love who they really are.
