HUDSY celebrates the incredibly diverse voices, culture and spirit of the Hudson Valley through the power of film and storytelling on the first streaming video app for the region, HUDSY TV.

ABOUT THE FILM:

In a society where able-bodied and neurotypical are the norms, The Adaptive Sports Foundation challenges this perception. This inspiring documentary follows Farryl, a 10-year-old with cerebral palsy, and Matt, a 33-year-old war veteran seeking purpose. Farryl is given the tools to conquer the ski slopes, while Matt finds a renewed reason to fight for life. Their journeys are filled with trepidation and determination as they strive for the independence that societal norms have withheld. Witness their roller coaster of emotions, from fear to triumph, as they defy all odds and achieve an invigorating sense of accomplishment. Angel Fonseca’s film showcases the power of adaptive sports to transform lives and redefine what it means to be truly capable.
