Synopsis: In the streets of New York, a young woman is relentlessly, stubbornly and desperately looking for a sofa. SOFA SO GOOD is a funny story, with some touching moments, about holding on and letting go.


Director's Bio: Noa Osheroff is an Israeli writer, director and comedy producer based in New York. She’s a graduate of the Tisch School of Film and Television at Tel Aviv University, where she wrote and directed two short films: ONE FROM AFAR (2010) and CHERRIES (2013). Her most recent short SOFA SO GOOD, starring Hiam Abbass and Nataly Aukar, is currently in the festival circuit. Noa is also the producer and the host of a successful monthly stand-up comedy show “Speak American,” which focuses on immigrants and their stories.
