Synopsis: Three Indian people imagine their personas as their "coffee shop names”—&nbsp;the names they give baristas because their real names are hard to pronounce. Director's Bio: Deepak Sethi has over a decade of experience writing for primetime television, including as a staff writer on Family Guy, Brickleberry, and Close Enough (just released on HBO Max). He's also worked on Cuckoo, an NBC pilot, with director Peter Farrelly, and recently punched up the script for INDIA SWEETS AND SPICES, the next feature film from the CRAZY RICH ASIANS producers Sidney Kimmel Entertainment. His short film, COFFEE SHOP NAMES, won the Soho House ScriptHouse Award and is currently on the festival circuit, with festivals including the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, Aspen ShortsFest, Palm Springs ShortFest, Cleveland International Film Festival, Oxford Film Festival (Angie Thomas Zeitgeist Award winner), and the Sun Valley Film Festival (Soho House Award winner). Additionally, Deepak performs stand-up comedy and is a regular feature at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.

Synopsis: Edgar is a high school senior in Brooklyn. On the day when he finds out that all his hard work in school has paid off, he makes a decision that alters the course of his life forever. Director's Bio: Jose Acevedo is a writer, director and producer who lives in Brooklyn, New York, by way of the west side of Chicago. He works as Head of Development at Phoebe Robinson’s production company, Tiny Reparations. He makes short films under his own banner, Angel’s Brother’s Productions. Synopsis: The regulars of Nantucket's Take It Or Leave It are met with a crisis when a new policy is put in place. Together they come up with a plan to counteract the policy that threatens their livelihood. Directors' Bios: Andrew Cromartie grew up on the island of Nantucket, where he dabbled in music, acting, and filmmaking. He received his degree from the New York School for Film and Television and has acted, produced and directed for theater and film in Boston and New York. Cromartie currently lives on Nantucket and is the station manager/senior producer for Nantucket Community Television. Janet Forest grew up in the Boston area and started her career&nbsp;in journalism and television production. She has lived in Montreal, Quebec City, and New York City and she currently lives on Nantucket. Janet has been involved in local theatre for ten years as an actor, stage manager and director. She is an active member of the Nantucket Short Play Festival judging committee and is an Adult Programs Coordinator at the Nantucket Atheneum, the island's public library. She is also a published writer and a certified professional life coach.&nbsp;

T.I.O.L.I. Revolt: We're Not Going To Take It (Or Leave It)

Synopsis: In the streets of New York, a young woman is relentlessly, stubbornly and desperately looking for a sofa. SOFA SO GOOD is a funny story, with some touching moments, about holding on and letting go. Director's Bio: Noa Osheroff is an Israeli writer, director and comedy producer based in New York. She’s a graduate of the Tisch School of Film and Television at Tel Aviv University, where she wrote and directed two short films: ONE FROM AFAR (2010) and CHERRIES (2013). Her most recent short SOFA SO GOOD, starring Hiam Abbass and Nataly Aukar, is currently in the festival circuit. Noa is also the producer and the host of a successful monthly stand-up comedy show “Speak American,” which focuses on immigrants and their stories.

Synopsis: When a black man accidentally kills a white cop in self-defense, the cover-up sets off a chain reaction of deceit, blackmail, and murder. Director's Bio: Lanre Olabisi has written and directed two feature films, AUGUST THE FIRST and SOMEWHERE IN THE MIDDLE, both of which are distributed by Film Movement. Combined, his films have screened at over 70 film festivals around the world. His work has been nominated for an IFP Gotham Award, as well as a Black Reel Award. Synopsis: "I gotta see a bear..." Mighty declares her vision quest. Mighty and Leti, two Puerto Rican women from the Bronx, win a car in Las Vegas and adventure up to Idaho's Sawtooth mountains. They shed their city edge, absorb new surroundings and embrace the wonder of nature. Relying on their incredible strength of friendship, Mighty faces her own mortality and manifests her vision quest to life. Director's Bio: Lola Glaudini has been in front of the camera for 25 years, making a living as an actor in film (GROOVE, JACK GOES BOATING, BLOW, INVINCIBLE) and TV (RAY DONOVAN, THE SOPRANOS, THE EXPANSE, CRIMINAL MINDS). She graduated from Bard College. MIGHTY marks the first edition of her long-held desire to direct.
