MEET THE FILMMAKER: SAM HOILAND

Sam Hoiland is a Bay Area narrative film director originally hailing from Portland, Oregon. He has been in the industry for the past 10 years, starting as a production assistant on shows such as NBC’s Grimm, TNT’s Leverage and the Netflix original series 13 Reasons Why. His own films have been shown in over 20 cities and in 2019 his short film, R & Rx, received the Best Sci-Fi Film award from the Oregon Independent Film Festival.
