
Bones is a surreal music video collaboration with the Aussie band, Telenova. Inspired by a shared love for the work of David Lynch and French New Wave, Bones plumbs the alienation of Laura, an Asian woman caught between romance and delusion in a dreamlike 1960s America.
Directors' Bio:
Jill Sachs is a Fil-Am filmmaker, using genre to explore the ways we weave ourselves into mythologies, and navigate obsolescence. She earned her MFA in Directing from AFI, and is a recent Finalist for the Disney Underrepresented Storytellers Initiative, and CAPE short film award. Jill currently works in commercials at Psyop.
Angeline Armstrong is an Filipino-Kiwi-Australian writer, director and musician telling diverse stories across multiple mediums. As a short film and music video director Angeline's work has aired on Rage ABC, MTV Australia, and been recognized at local and international film festivals. Angeline is the lead singer/songwriter of Telenova.
