At Crested Butte Film Festival we believe that film can change lives. Every year we strive to create opportunities for participants to learn and have the opportunity to act during the festival. To accompany our panel “An Unusual Route: Dialogues Around Systemic Representations” and the films exploring race in America, we’ve developed a list of resources to support your journey toward anti-racism. This is not comprehensive by any means, but we hope this helps.

This award-winning documentary tells the inspiring story of three underserved teenagers from Atlanta, who attempt to climb four 12,000 foot snowcapped peaks in the heart of the Colorado wilderness, all while overcoming their own personal mountains.

This film has been generously sponsored by Theresa and Ian Schaul; by Michael Sheldon and Joanne and David Tagieff; and by CORE, a fitness studio offering personal training, nutrition coaching and classes to keep you moving injury free in the outdoors.
