EXPLORATION FILM. Explore the return of an old format in these contemporary silent movies made with Super 8 film.

A meditation on the nature of love and perception in an age of changing social mores and cultural turbulence, "War, Silence & Love" is a thematic short film trilogy comprised of three short films--“War, One Afternoon,” “Silence, Before Rain,” and “Love, By Nature,” which take place in 1967, 1969, and 1971, respectively. Shot entirely on Super 8 film and featuring an original score, this series of conceptually-interlocking, cinematic chapters form a modern, naturalistic exploration of visual storytelling.

War, One Afternoon: As the Vietnam War rages thousands of miles away, one woman battles with her own psyche close to home, revealing a complex story about the nature of perception and the psychological effects of war on the human consciousness.
