In a world where anthropomorphic sea creatures have taken over and grew a disdain over humans, a mysterious individual enters a saloon in a seashore town while hiding a secret that, if revealed, could put his life on the line. This secret becomes difficult to keep when a duo of aquatic, mammalian robbers' barge in. Will the individual stand by idly or will he risk it all to save the aquatic patrons?

Director Biography

Giselle Calderon is an animator based in Monee, IL. Ever since she was young, Giselle has had a passion for creating original and fun characters along with engaging yet thrilling character driven narratives. She expresses these stories through illustrations, comics, and more recently, animations. “The Lone Angler” will serve as Giselle’s first ever short animated production, where she directed a crew of dedicated artists, creators, and performers. She hopes to one day make a career out of storytelling and creating character designs.
