Give as a gift
This program offers a thought-provoking exploration into the role of animation as a powerful medium for driving social change. Through a series of in-depth discussions, we delve into how animated works can spark conversations, challenge societal norms, and inspire movements.
In this insightful conversation with director Stelios Koupetoris we take you on a deep dive into the mind of a skillful storyteller. Stelios is a multi-award winning director, writer, composer and sound designer. His desire to make films that matter to the world is clearly evident in the films he has chosen to make. His first film W is a poignant anti-war film. P, his second film in his planned trilogy, is a cleverly crafted film that tackles the power of propaganda in our media landscape.
In this session you will explore how the relentless messaging cycle that seems to have seeped deeply within our societies is brought to life through his film P. Can that vicious cycle ever be broken? Watch to find out!
