I needed to be reminded, and hoped to remind others, that acts of random kindness happen everywhere, every day, in the most unexpected ways.

Networking is an integral skill, yet too often, it's categorized as being only for business people. The truth is that networking is for everyone, not just the entrepreneurs, inventors, and executives. In "Connectivity," students and leaders of the extended Winona community discuss how everyone can redefine, learn, and practice this essential skill. Tom Schneider operates the oldest barber shop in Winona, MN, Tom's Barber Shop. His shop embodies Winona culture in every way and carries its legacy, too. He sees people from all walks of life, casually entertaining them with wit and magic. They don't just come for a haircut–they come for Tom.

We have all been impacted by COVID-19. Some struggled and some thrived, but everyone adapted to new ways of overcoming limitations and inconveniences in order to carry on with daily responsibilities and activities. Their stories often reveal an underlying sense of gratefulness and hope in the midst of this life-changing pandemic.
