A biology professor at Winona State University, in southeastern Minnesota invites a student up to Alaska to work on a small mammal research project. Paul falls in love with Alaska and pursues his dream to buy a fishing permit in Prince William Sound. Every summer he is joined by his family and crew members from the midwest, and introduces them all to the wilderness, and the hard work of sustainable fishing. Paul’s passion for his work, surrounded by nature, helps develop future opportunities for the young crew members.
