Our popular collection of short films by local filmmakers.

We have all been impacted by COVID-19. A friend was one of the first people to lose his father to the virus at a local nursing home. I wanted to capture his story on film, and that began this collection of interviews with others in the Winona community who were affected personally and professionally. Some struggled and some thrived, but everyone adapted to new ways of overcoming limitations and inconveniences in order to carry on with daily responsibilities and activities. Their stories often reveal an underlying sense of gratefulness and hope in the midst of this life-changing pandemic.
