Young creatives are the filmmakers, screenwriters, composers, choreographers of tomorrow. Their vision of the world comes from 21st Century eyes, minds and hearts. Let's celebrate the last day of KIDS FIRST!'s 30th Anniversary by celebrating our young filmmakers.
This is a film about using our inner climate to help others and help bring about peace.
Juror's comments: Beautiful short film by middle school students. Beginning with a quote from Maya Angelou, this film grabs your heart as we witness the selfless acts by a young boy collecting abandoned shoes and gifting a pair to an apparently homeless man. He doesn't make a big deal of it, collects, delivers and moves on. Love this. Inspiring film about helping others. I give this 4 out of 5 stars and recommend if for ages 10 to 18, plus adults.
