Downtown Jacktown is a Mississippi action comedy crime film written, directed and starred by Tiffany Jefferson with Chiquila Pearson, and Bridget Archer.

Lisa Anderson’s (Tiffany Jefferson) son McKenzie (Jordan Jefferson – Rhodes Scholar Finalist) got accepted into Morehouse College, but cannot afford the tuition because Lisa and her best friend Tonya Pettiford (Chiquila Pearson) are daycare workers. Tonya convinces her best friend to gamble for the money, but they are held up by robbers in the club taking Lisa’s purse as a result. Upon realizing that a winning lottery ticket worth 3 million dollars is in the purse, they set out to find the crooks themselves. Determined to find the ticket they request assistance from gangster Gouchi Jan (Bridget Archer) who wants to defeat her rival Voodoo Slim (Torries Owens). Using their fearlessness and determination they find the lottery ticket only to discover that Lisa son, McKenzie wants to attend Jackson State University.
