Director Biography - Dustin Paul Weible
When Dustin first saw Jurassic Park at the age of three, he knew he wanted to make movies. With his Hot Wheels camcorder, he'd record videos of his action figures and best friends. In high school, he would film music videos for local musicians and short films. While attending the University of South Carolina, Dustin studied Media Arts with a focus on cinematography and writing. He created several dozen short films and gained experience helping to write for an independent feature film in Columbia, SC. Shortly after graduating, he moved down to Florida, working with clients such as The Walt Disney Company and Lexus while pursuing his passion for narrative filmmaking. Nearly 10 years later, he has returned to his home state of South Carolina, looking to help develop the local filmmaking community.
