Our pets are our best friends, whether or not we have stable shelter, and sometimes even much more so when we live on the streets. In this #ourtownreno documentary, Lucia Starbuck looks into the relationship of the homeless with their cats and dogs, and wonders why more shelters don't allow their presence. By seeing the love of the people in our film for their pets, we might understand them better, and look for better ways to help them and to understand they are an integral part of our community, and not an "other."
