    Director Biography - Michael Buran is writer and director based in NYC. A film school graduate, Michael got his start editing commercials and independent films. After two decades of working with some of the top creative agencies in the world, Michael was inspired to make his first independent film in years after becoming a father during the COVID-19 lockdown. Isolated, sleep-deprived, confined to a tiny NYC apartment, and stumbling through the raw days and blurry nights of early parenthood, his horror short film began to take shape.
