    Director Biography - Guðni Líndal Benediktsson is an Icelandic screenwriter based in London, England. He has a burning passion for fantasy and sci-fi, genres that have dominated his creative interests since childhood, and uses every opportunity to better his storytelling skills. Creating narratives that tell an emotionally charged story whilst also scaring the viewer senseless are particularly precious to him. Guðni has written and directed several short films and received multiple screenwriting grants from The Icelandic Film Centre, the BFI and Screen Scotland. He is also an award-winning children book author in Iceland. He studied screenwriting and directing in The Icelandic Film School and holds a MA degree in Screenwriting from Screen Academy Scotland.
