Elijah Cloud Striker is a sixteen-year-old Indigenous kid who is forced to attend Saint Ignatius Indian Residential School. His father, Chief Cloud Striker, has come to the school to reclaim him. Upstairs Elijah is being abused and humiliated by the vicious Sister Beatrice. Downstairs his father, Chief Cloud Striker, negotiates his way past a condescending and hypocritical Father Christian. When the Chief begins to understand the abuse his son has been made to suffer at the hands of this nun, an act of violent retribution is more than justified.
