Please note: Each film has an introduction from the filmmaker programmed to play before the film's showing. We recommend watching the program straight through, as fast forwarding or skipping may impact your viewing experience.
Audience awards ballots will be sent out before the conclusion of the short film program, and the winner will be announced on the 22nd.
Our narrator describes a 125 mile daily commute to and from New York City. He sees a Man in Cowboy Boots sitting across from him on the train for 15 years... but they never speak. The film explores how David navigates space, physically and emotionally, as he wonders so deeply about those next to him, whom he intentionally and carefully ignores. The camera travels the streets and subways, exploring this delicate line between connection and isolation in modern urbanity.
